London: How to mend a broken heart, helped by computers and advanced technology

Tonight there is a free public talk called "Electricity and the Heart - How to mend a broken heart, helped by computers and advanced technology" which Cafe Sci members are invited to attend.

The talk starts at 6.00pm, at 76 Portland Place, London W1B 1NT. The speakers are Prof. Peter Kohl (Imperial College London and University of Oxford) who will talk about "Modelling the Heart: Devil in Detail, Heaven in Integration" and Dr. Sabine Ernst (Royal Brompton Hospital and Imperial College London) whose subject is "From modelling to real life - progress in understanding cardiac arrhythmia".

There will be a wine reception after the talks which will end at about 9pm.
