Calgary Wall/Rock Climbing

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Meet, greet and climb with your feet (and legs and arms and hands.... you get the idea).

MUST know how to belay!!! (i.e., you must have passed the belay test at the gym or be ready to take the belay test right away). Classes offered weekly at all Calgary Climbing Center climbing gyms. Otherwise, all levels are welcomed to join.

Notes about our meetups:

• Please note that you must pass a lead-belay test at the gym in addition to your top-rope belay test if you want to lead climb or lead belay at the gym.

• While we encourage everyone to push their limit, please be considerate of your climbing partner(s). You and your partner(s) should spend about the same amount of time climbing and belaying each other. If you really want to conquer a route, come back to it at your next turn.
