Heart Creek contains the best concentration of moderate climbs in the Bow Valley. This small, picturesque canyon sees a constant flow of eager climbers throughout the summer and the well-maintained trail whisks visitors from parking lot to cliff in a mere 15 minutes, a real treat in the Bow Valley.
The canyon walls range from shabby to vertical and are generally comprised of high-quality, compact grey limestone, perfectly formed for friendly face climbing. This is a great area to sample Bow Valley sport climbing, try your first climb, or even your first lead.
