New Years on The Mountain

Lets go to the Big White (near Kelowna, BC) for snowboarding or skiing!  Also, there are a lot of other activities to do at Big White; xc skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing, tubing, wine tasting......

Preference will be given to those who are active members and we already know.

We rented a condo on  from December 28th to January 1st. It is a 6-10 person ski in/out condo with hot tub, BBQ, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, etc.

Cost of accommodations will be $249 to $330 per person depending on the number of people who join.  Plus lift tickets, transportation and food/alcohol.

It is a 655km, 7 hour drive to Big White from Calgary.  Saturday December 28th and Wednesday January 1st will both be spent driving.  We will car pool and have lots of drivers already.  Gas will be about $40 - $50 return for the trip

I always loved NYE in the mountains. Big White looks like very good choice. I think they may even have nite skiing. That'll be something.

Fernie is too close and can be done on any regular weekend, we shall go to a place at least 5 hours away.
