Due Trevor and Will being sick, Tamara will be leading the trip and the new objective will be Rummel Lake:)
A good level of fitness is required as our pace is moderate-fast. Please be realistic about your abilities. You must be able to commit to the entire event.

Time: 4 hours
• Hiking or winter boots
• Ski or hiking poles
• Proper seasonal clothing (dress in layers, toque, gloves, wool socks)
• Lunch and drinks (no Camelbaks or hydration bladders in winter)
• Sun glasses/SPF rated lip balm
• Bikini or swim shorts
No jeans, no cotton clothing of any kind!
Snowshoes and hiking poles can be rented at either Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) or UofC Outdoor Center.
DRIVING AND DIRECTIONS:
We will meet at the in Calgary meeting point and carpool from there. Please be on time as we will only wait a short while past past the departure time before we leave.
Travel along The Spray Lakes Road (SLR), either North from Peter Lougheed Provincial Park or South past the Canmore Nordic Center. The trailhead is on the East side of the road directly across from the Mount Shark road. You can park on the side of SLR or on the Mt. Shark road.
You must sign a trip waiver and contact information form to attend this event. The event organizer will have these for you.
