Mount Galatea belongs to the long Kananaskis Range located just north of Kananaskis Lakes in the center of Kananaskis Country and it is the highest mountain in Kananaskis.

A good level of fitness is required as our pace is moderate-fast. Please be realistic about your abilities. You must be able to commit to the entire event.

DRIVING AND DIRECTIONS:
We will meet at the in Calgary meeting point and carpool from there. Please be on time as we will only wait a short while past past the departure time before we leave.
From the Canmore Nordic Center, drive 40kms+/- south on the Spray Lakes/Smith Dorrien Road (gravel). Turn left at a sign for the Chester Lake day use parking lot.
You must sign a trip waiver and contact information form to attend this event. The event organizer will have this for you.
