This is an awesome hike in Waterton which has been on my to-do list for a while. This is going to be a long day as the drive to Waterton is 3 hours. We would be back in Calgary around 9-10pm.
We have to take a ferry to get to and from trailhead which runs only at specific times ($21 per person, 15 min ride)
More info here:
It will be a long day and we'll be moving at a decent moderate pace as we need to get back to the trailhead by 5pm to catch the return ferry. It's around 18km return, with 700m elevation gain and one ledge sections where people with fear of heights might cringe. So, please gauge your abilities accordingly.
Note: You'll be expected to sign a waiver. Also, it will be appreciated if you can pay a little money to cover the group's website costs (optional, but appreciated). It costs around $50 per 3 months to run the group!
