Just want to get some feedback from you regarding insurance:

I am a new rider - just a year, have gone through the training courses and ride a 1000 cc bike. I am paying close to $ 600 for full coverage. Seems a little steep to me but I am not totally sure - guess that's why I asking :)

I was looking to reduce my coverage to remove "Collision or Upset" - this would save me almost $ 240 per year.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Which insurance company do you have coverage with?
Do they consider the Tiger 1050 a Touring M/C?
Do you get Multi Vehicle discount?

I am insured with TD, and have $1 million 3rd party liability, accident benefits, uninsured motorist, specified perils that include fire, theft, vandalism, weather, etc, and family protection endorsement.

Considering, 15 Yrs no claims record, no citation in past 5 Yrs, no demerits, and other vehicles insured by the same company, I pay $503 per year. TD consider The Sprint to be in the SPORT, not Touring category.

Thanks Koby - I am with Jevco - sounds like I am getting a pretty good deal.
