Why: website costs
For people who like movies and for people who loooove movies! Watching movies and getting to know others is fun.
Usually we'll watch the movie after the opening weekend, mainly to avoid the crowd and to make sure we can get seats for everyone. There might be a get together after the movie at a nearby watering hole to get to know your pals better.
BUT I won't be able to watch everything at the movies all at once. I know some of you are dying to watch genres you like. Let me know and I'll post it up for you and perhaps a few others will join you for the movie. (Psssst... need Assistant Organisers!)
There is no fixed monthly fee for this group. Costs are on a per event basis (a.k.a. movie ticket prices + your drinks/snacks etc).
Come whenever you can.
PS: This site runs on a voluntary donation basis as there is a cost to hosting this. So anything to feed a starving movie fan would be mucho appreciated. If you want to, whenever you want to, a small teensy weensy donation (like pocket change *smile* or a beer *big big smile and hug*) to help cover the cost of maintaining the site.
