A fantastic group and day out with the three amigos. The ridge we did today is definitely one that I can highly recommend. Views were incredible and the tv with the giant grasshopper made the effort all worthwhile. There were questions today like Rye didn't we do this sooner? Rye doesn't anybody know about this trail? And of course my favourite comment. I think I could really use a rye with gin after this one. I know that all of todays attendees will be itching to re-do this ridge again so keep your eyes peeled for a re-post and remember "you snooze, you lose"

I am really sorry for not showing up this morning. I park my car at my parents house and when I got their last night, my car wouldn't start. I found out this morning that where the battery connects to the battery terminals had corroded to the point that the car wasn't getting enough juice to start. After they were cleaned up, everything was fine. I couldn't tell you last night that I couldn't go because I don't have a smart phone and my parents computer isn't working.

Thankyou John for your invitation. Unfortunately, after a training run tonight, my left ankle is still too sensitive that I would likely do the 21 km. in pain. It's going to be a great hike ! Have Fun !
