All CORA members are invited to the Annual General Meeting to close out 2012.
The basic agenda will be brief reports from committees for the year, submission of the financial statements for approval by the Membership, and election of new Directors to the Board.
If you are interested in serving as Director on the Board submit a letter of interest and brief resume to [masked] by April 12.
The Board meets once monthly, with a break in July and August. The time commitment between meetings is variable, but we like to ensure that no one has to do more than they want to.
To that end, you don't have to be a Director to help CORA help others get out and enjoy the outdoors. There are many other volunteer opportunities with the Safety Committee, Training and Leadership, Membership and Social, and Communication. Maybe you have some ideas of your own of how you can contribute. Drop a note to [masked] or come to the AGM to find out more.
This is a great opportunity to meet other members, meet the Board and to find out about ways you can help CORA in addition to Board roles. The meeting should not take too long, so there will be some time for socializing afterwards.
All 2012 memberships expire at the AGM, but 2013 memberships will be sold at the door.
Snacks will be served.
