I believe we had all kinds of weather except a sunny one. Still worth the effort; it built character and stretched our legs for good. Many thanks, Dave and Peter.

I think I failed Ugurs test!?! Best part of this day was the coffee at Cinnamon Spoon. Good training for bad weather survival!
Thanks for coming Peter, Ugur - good to see someone else will hike in the rain/snow!!!

Sorry but I don't have a snowshoe and know how to use. It seems snowshoe is required.

Sorry Ugar...in our never ending quest to hike all the mountains we have jumped on to an unfamiliar one...not that Old Baldy is that Familiar... We will see you next time.

I'll be looking this one over on Saturday. If things continue to look as they are we'll switch up the venue.
Expect RAIN and/or SNOW on Sunday. I go all year, regardless of weather, so long as its safe to do so. Be prepared to get wet, otherwise update your status.
My alternate will most likely be MOOSE MOUNTAIN.

Hi guys, I also tried this hike last weekend, couldn't do it (had no snowshoes), had to turn around when ended up in waist deep snow (and I'm 6'4" tall :-)

I tried to do it last week, it was impossible without snowshoes. At times I went on all fours in waist-deep snow. Up there, on the ridge, one could still see some nice cornices. I'd love to do it again, but later in June.
