Distance: 7.0 km return
Elevation: 2100 ft about 650 m gain.
3221 M above sea level high point

This is a short, but fairly strenuous hike. Located in the South East part of Yellowstone N.P.
We top out at 3221 M so we will have great views of they area for the effort.
Once you get into Yellowstone N.P. you will drive about 19 miles or 31 km east of Fishing Bridge Junction.

TRIP WAIVER AND CONDITIONS: You must sign a trip waiver to attend this event. Your organizer will be your witness. Yearly membership fee is $20 which lasts until the Annual General Meeting. Alternately, you may participate as a non-member for $5 for the day.
It is your responsibility to make sure you have acquired all necessary equipment, clothing, and food for this trip. All outdoor activities involve a certain degree of risk, so it is up to you to be prepared, self-reliant, responsible, cautious, and aware of surrounding hazards. As well, mountain weather can be unpredictable, so be prepared for unforeseen changes. For safety reasons, if you show up for this event unprepared or with inappropriate clothing and or gear you will not be permitted to continue on the trip.
It is my intent to empower members to take responsibility and gain backcountry experience and knowledge. This event should be viewed as a learning experience as well as a fun filled trip.
