This hike is in Yoho National Park. Bring a park pass if you have one.
This should be a relatively easy hike for those of you who have been hiking all summer, however we will be moving at a good pace.

Update your RSVP as early as possible. If you are unable to attend for any reason whatsoever, LET ME KNOW as soon as possible. Please indicate in your COMMENTS if you can drive, if necessary. I need to know if we have adequate transportation for all participants.

TRIP WAIVER AND CONDITIONS: You must sign a trip waiver to attend this event if you are not a "paid" member yet. Yearly membership fee is $20, or $5 for the day.
Please be realistic about your abilities. READ ABOUT THIS HIKE ON THE INTERNET OR IN HIKING BOOKS BEFOREHAND IF YOU ARE UNSURE. Please gauge your abilities appropriately.

Driving and Directions:
To get there we'll meet at the west end of the parking lot of Dalhousie LRT Station behind Chapters. From the C-Train station, we'll follow the Trans Canada Hwy (Hwy 1) out of Calgary to the Wapta Lake parking area, about a 15 minutes drive past Lake Louise.
Trail conditions: Be prepared for snow and mud and ice. BRING YOUR ICERS AND POLES.
Membership: You need to be a paid 2013 member to attend.
Gas contributions for drivers is expected by all participants(see below).
CORA trips start at the trailhead. As a convenience to participants only, we meet at the meeting point in Calgary then car pool from there. Please be on time. We don't want to have to wait around long. You may choose to meet us at the trailhead, but please advise us ahead of time. Please indicate in your RSVP COMMENTS if you can drive, if necessary. Please reimburse some $$ to drivers for gas.
EQUIPMENT: Weather can change quickly -- rain, snow, wind, warm, or cold -- BE PREPARED. NO COTTON! Dress for Winter/Spring not Summer!
Mandatory - sense of humour, good healthy lunch, at least 2-3 litres of water, layers, sturdy boots and hiking poles
Recommended - camera.
