A lovely, relaxed Saturday hike after braving the early morning and intense blizzards - the first of many winter adventures!

Good people, beautiful scenery, all the stuff Alina said. :)

Ugur - your hiking legs have gotten so strong, soon you'll be racing Darcy!

Amazing day in the mountains! The weather was better than we expected...beautiful peaceful snowfall. It worth waking up in the morning and conquering the mountains. Thank you Ugur for a great choice- the trail had a bit of uphill, ridge walk, superb views considering the weather. Fun group - Kyle and Carol, thank you for welcoming me in your car, being determined to hike and lending me the hiking poles. We even had a fire to warm up half way through the hike....it was great to hike with you guys!

If you have snowshoes, bring them. I'm currently collecting info about this. Snow isn't often that deep in South K-Country; but if you have snowshoes, bring them.

Ugur can I bring a +1 also? I'll pay online before we show up, like Mihaela's friend. Thanks!

    November 12, 2013

  • Mihaela M.

Hi Ugur, can I bring a guess? She is working with me and going to the same gym. Do I have to pay online for her first or wait for your reply ?

    November 4, 2013

    • U. P.

Of course. And yes, you need to pay $5 on her behalf if she's not registered at meetup.com. If you can send me the receipt of the payment, that'd be great. Then I can sign you up as +1.
