  • This location is shown only to members

*****If you are new to CORA and never hiked with us before, please read the description carefully. We admit paid members only. And there are two options: Either purchasing annual membership ($20) which lasts until the next AGM, or casual hiker's fee ($5) that is valid for one outing. Payments are done online, the blue link on the left (Smart phones/i-phones don't have this app, so it must be done on PC/MAC) ****

We attempted Red Peak on October 26, 13, and ended up scrambling GR 210395. This time I'm committed to bag the true summit. The steep ascent is through North Buller Pass. Expect some snow. .

If there's interest, I'll also stop by Canmore for a supper.

Another fun Ugur Special with a great group. Just enough snow to make an easy scramble more interesting, and we even had the mountain to ourselves. Doesn't get much better.

We were at North Buller Pass this weekend and there was a huge cornice all the way from the pass up to the peak. totally socked in with about 4 feet of snow. The hike is a long one. 17 Km return if you do summit.

So sad I'll have to miss this one. Not Red peak was a lot of fun, actually summitting Red Peak would be epic.

Not Red Peak is tentatively known as Mount Ugur :)
