TRIP WAIVER AND CONDITIONS: You must sign a trip waiver to attend this event . If you are not a "paid" member at the time of signing up, you will be moved to the Waiting list until proof of payments are available. Yearly membership fee is $20, or $5 for the day, paid Online only. No money will be taken at the meetup location.
This hike is not for beginners, but should be relatively easy for seasoned hikers. There is no scramble involved.
Please be realistic about your abilities. Please gauge your abilities appropriately. Organizers are not here to babysit you.

Driving and Directions:
From the Dalhousie C-Train Station, we'll drive west on Crowchild, connect onto Stoney Trail and take Hwy 1 westbound. At the Hwy 40 intersection, we'll go south on Hwy 40 for 60 km to the Elbow Pass Parking lot - lefthand side.
Trail conditions: Unknown, but be prepared for some snow patches and mud (i.e. proper boots and gators).
Gas contributions for drivers is expected by all participants(see below).
CORA trips start at the trailhead. As a convenience to participants only, we meet at the meeting point in Calgary then car pool from there. Please be on time. We don't want to have to wait around long. You may choose to meet us at the trailhead, but please advise us ahead of time. Please indicate in your RSVP COMMENTS if you can drive, if necessary. Please reimburse some $$ to drivers for gas.
EQUIPMENT: . Weather can change quickly -- rain, snow, wind, warm, or cold -- BE PREPARED. NO COTTON! Dress for Winter/Spring not Summer!
Mandatory - sense of humour, good healthy lunch, at least 2-3 litres of water, layers, sturdy boots
