Tent Ridge Horseshoe

  • Jul 5, 2014 · 9:00 AM
  • McMahon Stadium

Gillian Daffearn calls this "one of the most enjoyable ridge walks you will ever do". It involves some hands on scrambling on the ascent and one rather narrow spot. Exposure is limited. The biggest issue, as I remember it, is wind. The descent is steep but not daunting.

The trip is described in detail in Daffearn's Kananaskis Country Trail Guide (Volume 1, pp. 250 - 252)

2014 MEMBERS ONLY. You must pay online before you can go. The yearly membership fee is $20. It is good until the next AGM which is usually held in April. There is A $5 single trip option. Payment at the trailhead is not permitted.
