Narao Peak - moderate scramble

Narao Peak is located just west of Lake Louise in Yoho National Park. We will start out at the Lake Ohara parking lot and hike up Lake Ohara road the road for a couple of km before heading up to the peak. If conditions are good, we will be taking an alternate route down, going past Ross Lake - if the weather is warm enough you might even consider a cool off in the lake.

We will be heading up at a reasonably fast pace with occasional breaks. There will be some scrambling and exposure involved, so please only sign up if you are familiar and comfortable with such things and are fit enough to keep up a good pace.

This trip will go ahead only if the weather looks good. Please check this event posting on the day of the event to make sure that it is still going ahead.

Before participating in an event you pay either the one time guest fee of $5 or the annual $20 membership fee. At the meetup location you will need to sign a waiver.

Please arrive at the meetup location on time, with all the caffeine/food you need so that we can go straight out to the mountains.
