Easy Scramble / Gusty Peak.

***When you arrive to the meet up location. Look for a truck with a red flashing LED on top of it. This is to help people find me in the morning.

Please carefully read the gear requirements and trip difficulty ratings. It is the responsibility of the participant to check for any updates, changes or cancellations before the trip. Gear checks will be conducted at the meet up location. Failure to have the required gear will result in the participant not attending the trip. Participants will also need to answer all the questions regarding this trip before I decide who attends.

An automatic waiting list has been created for this trip. Participants will be selected based on experience scrambling moderate to difficult scrambles. Participants must be punctual and have a good RSVP history. Which means they do not constantly change their RSVP statuses, are not regularly late and do not back out last minute. To put it simply, I decide who goes on this trip regardless of who signs up first.

Make sure that you have paid for a 2013 membership with the CSMC. Payment can be made online or at the meeting location. Waivers are mandatory for every trip and can be printed online or filled out at the meeting location. Cost for membership with the CSMC is $20 for 2013. Be sure to also bring extra money for car pooling costs.

Gusty peak is located north of Fortress Mountain and east of Chester Lake which is a popular area during the larch season. The weather is calling for a 'gusty' day, so dress appropriately. This peak also has a reputation for being a scree slog, so be prepared for a bit of suffering... Normal for my trips. LOL

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
