AI Assessment/Practice

As has already been mentioned all those attending club trips in the winter will need to demonstrate an ability to:

Turn on an Avalanche Beacon

Do a search for a buried victim

Organize and coordinate several people searching for a single buried victim

Once you have demonstrated this you will have A1 added to your Profile.

This session is an opportunity for you to get this while the temperature is still good.

You will need:

Avalanche Beacon

Shovel

Probe

You will also need to be a fully paid CSMC Member (please use either Paypal or Email Transfer)

And yes there will be many other opportunities to get this done.

Hi Tom - will you be in view of the parking lot? If my daughter can get in the gym early, I will drive to your side of Nose Hill and join you...if she can't get in the gym early it won't make sense to drive around as I won't get there until past 6:30pm...

    Hi Tom,

My daughter has basketball 2 blocks away from 6:30p-7:30p...if I can drop her off early, could I join you fashionably late?

The short answer is yes. To be clear. This is not a "course". It is an opportunity to refresh your memory and at least once a year actually practice dokng a search. As Michael has previously indicated everyone attending winter trios with club will have to go rhrough this process annually. Also to avoid further confusion this is internal club use. I hope this helps and if you or others have questions or comments please asl.
