If conditions allow we'll be going up the scramble route and come down the trail.

This is a slower paced trip.

Optional: ice axe.

***Please note to check this event in the morning due to unlikely possible last minute cancellation.***

It is the responsibility of the participant to check for any updates, changes or cancellations before the trip. Gear checks will be conducted at the meet up location. Failure to have the required gear will result in the participant not attending the trip.

In order to participate in a CSMC trip, you must have paid for a 2014 membership. Cost for membership with the CSMC is $20. Payment can be made online through the CSMC page on Meetup. Waivers are mandatory for every trip and can be filled out at the meeting location.

Car pooling:

Anyone who has a vehicle may be asked to drive for the trip. Please make sure to bring gas money for car pooling. It is recommended that drivers charge a 20 cent per kilometer / $20 every 100 kilometers rate for driving. This can be divided by the number of occupants in the vehicle. For example if the trip is 300 km’s round trip and there are four people in the vehicle. The cost for gas would be $15 per person.

Hi Wil, this will be my first trip with the CSMC! I just got in to Calgary on Saturday, so I don't know what the conditions are like.... would you recommend crampons in addition to the other gear? I do not have a vehicle to offer. Looking forward to meeting!
