***It is extremely important to read the following information carefully and prepare accordingly. You must answer the mandatory pop up questions for the trip. If you do not receive them, please let me know. ***
It is the responsibility of the participant to check for any updates, changes or cancellations before the trip. Gear checks will be conducted at the meet up location. Failure to have the required gear will result in the participant not attending the trip.
An automatic waiting list has been created for this trip. Participants will be selected based on experience for the selected objective. Participants must be punctual and have a good RSVP history. Which means they do not constantly change their RSVP statuses, are not regularly late and do not back out last minute. No shows will be black listed.
In order to participate in a CSMC trip, you must have paid for a 2014 membership. Cost for membership is $20. Payment can be made online through the CSMC page on Meetup. Waivers are mandatory for every trip and can be filled out at the meeting location.
Anyone who has a vehicle may be asked to drive for the trip. Please make sure to bring gas money for car pooling. It is recommended that drivers charge a 20 cent per kilometer / $20 every 100 kilometers rate for driving. This can be divided by the number of occupants in the vehicle. For example if the trip is 300 km’s round trip and there are four people in the vehicle. The cost for gas would be $15 per person.
We will be car camping at Spray Lakes campground. I have Monday off and will be staying until then. If you want to stay Monday, you are more than welcome to. Please refer to links at bottom of page to understand what is to be expected for difficulty, time, distance, elevation gain, etc.
