I was not able to make it, how did the event go?

Went awesome! Was warm, we had the highline up, 6 other lines and a longline! Had about 12 people come out... mostly from fb group though, only 1 other meetup person I think
What are your anchors for this?

Trees, with padding for protection to the tree
How do you feel about that being illegal in Calgary?
Listen to this recording of the radio show, we had a reporter come and interview us last year in Crescent Heights Park... We slacklined using the trees in Crescent over 70 days last summer, using tree protection and were due diligent about taking care of the area. We never had bylaw come and bother us once. I've heard stories from other Calgary Slackliner members about bylaw telling them to take down their lines but it seems bylaw just leaves us alone in Crescent.

Great that they don't bother you, hopefully they can change the rules so it's not questioned
A group dedicated to pursuing and exploring all the fun to be had with a Slackline ! For Slackliners to meet and hang out with eachother, and introduce new people into this wonderfully fun sport.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
