What else do you like to do? eg: motorcycle, snowshoe, Hike, Camp
I also like hiking and yoga.
What do you do for work?
I am an Admin. Assistant at Wilco Inc.
If you split-board or like to ride Back Country/CAT/HELI what type of Back Country experience do you have? AST1 or AST2 or more? First Aid, Crevase rescue etc? How many days a year do you split or ride Back Country terrain?

I am a beginner and I am looking forward to meeting people with similar hobbies.
This group is for everyone who wants to get out to do MORE snowboarding, once or twice a year just won't do it for us! Beginners are WELCOME and if you are experienced then this is the club for you! The purpose of this club is to help people meet other boarders so you have someone or a group to go with, make new friends and have a great time! I started this group because I want to go more often and I noticed there is a lot of people on meet up waiting for such a group, so, HERE IT IS! I am hoping to get a large enough group organized to do weekend trips to resorts in BC like Whistler, and Revelstoke and also to those smaller, quieter resorts with the secret powder stashes! Going to the States would be great too. I love to snowboard in new places!
For those more extreme, I am looking to try HELI-BOARDING, SPLIT-BOARDING and CAT BOARDING too. These are types of boarding that will leave you with "Experience of a Lifetime" type memories and though they can be pricey, will be well worth the effort and cost, plus groups make it more affordable. I may be calling trips with VERY short notice based on conditions. I am self employed with a fairly (re:huge pow days) flexible schedule, so if any resort within 3 hours of Calgary gets a HUGE DUMP of snow (15cm+) in a 24 hour period I will be posting a trip when I can, for the next day, so be prepared to call in sick to work once in a while!
So, LETS DO IT SNOWBOARDERS! Grab your snowcards for discounts, lets car pool, and this will be an affordable, fun adventure for all skill levels!
