We had a lot of fun and everyone was really nice. Thank you to everyone who helped us figure out our characters and how to play :)

We promise to not let it go 4 hours this time. Maybe.

Haha no worries! Though I am definitely voting no to lower elves down things from now on :P

I'm getting a question notification by e-mail, but I can't see the question here. My apologies to Aerel for the indirect reply.

The program is designed to be accessible to new players. It's a bit trickier right now because we're playing at a slightly higher level than usual, giving people access to a few extra powers and items. At this level, however, it's easy enough to keep that simpler than it sounds. There are a number of more experienced players around who can assist you in figuring out the options available to you.

Hey guys. Just thought I'd check in before I signed up to attend. Is a newb to 4th Ed welcome? Is there a spot available? Would love to give 4th a try. :)

We'll certainly be able to find you a spot, and new players are certainly welcome. The only tricky part for a newcomer will be that characters are level 5 at present. It's not too bad, but if you could drop in by 5 or 5:30 to get set up before the game starts, I could arrange for someone to help you get set up.

Oh yeah that would be fine. I'm quite experienced with rpgs I'm just not familiar with 4th edition and from everything I've read I shouldn't expect much by way of similarity with previous editions
