The Sentry Box's Wednesday Night D&D Encounters

The Wednesday Night D&D Encounters is a program featuring a complete adventure arc played in series, as the name suggests, one encounter at a time per session using WotC's 4th edition Dungeons and Dragons rules.  This program is sponsored solely by the Sentry Box and supported by this group by request.

Awesome group of people! Head for drinks across the streets for a few brews. Easily the best Wednesday night.

Can't make it tonight (weeknights are tough) but I'd love to roll up a lvl 1 character and hop on in. It's been a while and admittedly I've played D&D on game systems more than pen and paper for quite some time.

    What edition are you playing?

Are there any pseudo-noob groups playing on weekends?

Thanks for the reply Calvin!hmm yes I mean tomorrow night :P With a dozen people, do you break out into smaller parties? Are these lengthy campaigns where characters pop in and out or smaller one off scenarios?

We strive to keep tables down to six players each, though circumstances don't always allow that. Right now, we've got five or six tables most nights. The program runs the material given out each season by WotC, so no campaigns. It's not a bad place to find people for one, however.

I have never really played and I have just recently discovered what d&d is all about. I am really excited to try it out
