Ceroc Dance Lessons - Sept 2013

As there was such a great turn out and feedback from the Introduction to Two-Step lessons back in June, we are trying another dance lesson meet-up again….

This link is from the June 2013 meetup:  http://www.meetup.com/CalgaryDoSomethingNew/events/120553862

This will be on a first come basis!  Please only sign up if you have paid and add your RSVP to the dates that you will be attending!

*If you plan on doing the Drop-in class, please be aware that space is limited.

Note: You only need to RSVP if you plan on attending – thank you.

Even if you have missed a lesson, you are still welcome to attend!

Come and join in the fun…  Learn to dance and meet new friends.

Ceroc is the original, largest and fastest growing modern partner dance organization in the UK. Now operating in Canada, this fusion of jive and salsa is easy to learn and can be danced to most types of music.

Ceroc Website:  http://www.ceroccalgary.com

Classes will begin on Tuesday September 10th and will last for 6 weeks (Tuesdays at 8 pm).

DSN Fee of only $1.00 will only be collected once for this 6 week meet-up(you can save the other $5.00 for future events).

*So please at your first dance meet-up, please be courteous and pay one of the organizers (it is much nicer when we do not have to ask… thank you)

*Note: There is the same dance company available starting Wednesday September 11th in Thorncliffe.  *At this time, we are not setting up an event at this location and you will need to attend this one on your own.

Cost of the classes:  Depending on when/where you sign up for the classes, you can save money!

-Option #1    Drop in classes will cost you $10.00 per person/per class

-Option #2    Living Social Coupon (see below) will only be $20.00 single or $30.00 a couple for the full 6 weeks!

-Option #3    You can contact Ceroc directly (contact number is on the website) and sometimes they do have a promotion (for newcomers) of $40.00 per person for the 6 weeks

*So option 2 is the best, but PLEASE NOTE that the Living Social Deal expires on June 27th!!!!

How to get there:

If you are travelling by C-Train, you will need to use the Shawnessy stop and it will be approx. 5-10 minute walk to the hall.

Details from Living Social Website (option #2):

Sociable fun and fitness go hand in hand when you learn this easy form of partner dance with this international organization, which takes its name from the abbreviation for the French phrase, "C'est rock:"

• $30 ($130 value) for a six-week dance class for a couple
• $20 ($65 value) for a six-week dance class for one person
• Visit the Thorncliffe location on Monday or opt for the refurbished barn-turned-dance hall in Shawnessy on Tuesday; both sessions start at 8 p.m., and you can check the website for more detailed info

This will be the 4th class of six and there are some people on this meet-up that will be a No-Show or are coming out for their first dance lesson. Even if you have never been before, I would still suggest coming out... you will learn the basics and from there, make the decision to try more lessons in the future (even after this meet-up). Cheers all, M.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
