The California Adventure Racing Meetup Group welcomes everyone who is interested in the disciplines of adventure racing: trail running, mountain biking, paddling, navigation, and climbing.
Formal Meetups will occur at least once per month, to help you train for races ranging from sprint races (about 2 hours) to expedition races (up to 10 days).

What is the California Adventure Racing Association?
California Adventure Racing Association (CalARA), a non-profit, is a community and resource helping grow the sport of adventure racing in California. Our focus is on building skills and confidence in new athletes while embodying teamwork and cooperation. In coordination with local AR teams and sponsors, CalARA provides weekly mountain bike, kayaking, and trekking workouts. All ages and skill levels. Specific AR experience is not necessary. All activities are done in a group/team environment.
