Let's join together for day trip to the magical healing waters of Sierra Hot Springs.
A bit about Sierra: Sierra Hot Springs is a located at the cusp of an enchanted forest and a beautiful alpine valley. It is impossible to resist the sense of tranquility. The natural spring water is as smooth as silk, and the pools are a true healing experience. For centuries, Native Americans have regarded this land as a sacred healing place and so do I. Some ten years ago now, Sierra Hot Springs was my first clothing optional hot spring experience, it was a very gentle immersion into the world of soaking for which I am still grateful.
We can spend the day exploring the pools and the land. There are four soaking experiences available an outdoor rather natural meditation pool near the campgrounds, the indoor phoenix baths, which are tubs you fill and empty yourself and the main pool area, which consists of a large pool which is about body temp, where quite conversation is invited, adjacent to the large pool is the magical Dome with a sand bottom hot pool and two cold plunge tubs which is a silent area. There is a sweet short hike above the main pool area that leads to a wishing tree. There is also a sauna available for our enjoyment. With our soaking fees. we also have access to the main lodge which has comfy sofas, books, often gentle live music is wafting through the air. We can use the communal kitchen to prepare food, bring a picnic or choose a scrumptious dinner in the Philosophy Cafe. Dinner service begns at 6:30.
I am happy to organize a carpool. Sierra is located in Sierraville an easy 2 hour drive from Sacramento. Great roads, beautiful views. I imagine we would leave Sacramento at 8am arriving at about 10am and staying until 6 or 7pm arriving back in Sacramento by 9pm.(unless we want to stay for dinner) These long day trips to Sierra are so restful.
Fees: $20.00 for an all day soak Upon arrival we will each need to sign the group waiver.
You will each pay for yourself (and guests) at the resort when you arrive.
Please bring snacks/food and water for yourself for the day. There is a communal kitchen available as well.
Camping overnight is $27.50 per person and includes use of all facilities.
