What we’re about
This is a group of riders that are getting ready to ride in the Arthritis Foundation's CA Coast Classic Bicycle Tour in September. The tour starts in San Francisco and follows Highway One over eight days, ending in LA. Riders train for the tour from March through September. RIDE A – Edgewood/LaHonda/Skyline Loop: 32.8 miles, 2890 ft This loop has the challenging LaHonda climb to condition well rested legs. Cue sheets, detailed map, and Garmin download here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/31639504
For those needing a little less of a challenge we offer:
RIDE B – Edgewood Road and Portola Valley Loop; 22.8 miles, 1,470 ft. A mild ride suitable, but a little challenging, for beginning riders. Any changes in these rides, including cancellation, due to weather or other evil doing will be posted on the Cycling4Fun.com website by 7:00am the day of the ride.Please arrive at the start by 8:15am to prepare for an 8:30am departure. Cue sheets will be on the windshield for late arrivals. Look for a vehicle in the parking area with an orange traffic cone on top. Ride leader is Anshuman Gondalia. Helmets required.

Due to the closure of Redwood Road we have a new zoo loop route.
54 miles, 3770 ft climbingThis will take us through Morga, down Pinehurst where we will pick up the old Zoo Loop route back to Castro Valley.
