I'm an A&P Mechanic working on my IA from my little shop/ T hangar at Lampson Field. Have about 2500hrs flying mechanic/nav/copilot/airborne rifleman - helo & light air. Also an aerospace/mechanical/electrical engineer into pretty funky, far out R&D loves. UAS, levitation, advanced propulsion, etc. Getting back into flying here. Primary loves in General Aviation are ultralights/ EAA / Sport Category and my own dynalifter/ unmanned designs. My suggestion for a meetup is that our local area kids badly need a CAP squadron and pilots (presently recruiting other pilots on that). Aerospace intro & education at the very least. My hangar landlord has office space available for short-term lease. My little hangar is also available. Other resources could be scrounged up. We have out here annually a sea-plane splash-in by summer, but I think it needs a Young Eagles/ Aerospace Education upgrade. Rides for kids out of Lampson, ground school, etc. Pilot enjoyment of the resort area, fly-in, BBQ's, wine tours, etc. Also, if you ever fly into Lampson Field and just need some tour, info, or service, feel free to give me a jingle @ [masked].
