For those that missed the March camping trip, it was wonderful! Perfect weather, nice trails, and great horse people. We have it reserved again for the weekend of April 12-14, provided that there is enough interest.
Caloosa Saddle Club is dedicated to furthering equestrian education, planning trail rides/campouts and creating a welcoming enviroment to all disciplines
We do not rent or supply horses to ride. Owning a horse is not a requirement.
We are good stewards of the land. We help establish and maintain equestrian trails in the Lee/Collier/Hendry areas. We would like to be the voice representing horse riders when new trails are planned by government agencies.
When you sign up on this Meet Up site that gives you access to see our upcoming rides and events. If you would like to become a member of the Caloosa Saddle Club or participate in our rides, you must
1). Fill out a membership form (you can find the membership form under More and then Files).
2). Mail the completed form with a check for $10.00 (dues) to the Caloosa Saddle Club to:
Lynda Rehse, 13021 Southampton Dr., Bonita Springs, FL 34135.
After we receive your membership form and dues you are then eligable to participate in any club sponsored rides.
Caloosa Saddle Club meets the 1st Thursday of every month at 7 PM
at the North Fort Myers Fire Station on Nalle Road
Your horse must be trail safe. We are not here to train your horse and have no desire to be part of a rodeo. Horses/riders deemed unsafe will be asked to leave.
Children 8 years old and up are welcome as long as they are proficient enough to ride a horse independently and for a duration of 2-3 hours. No ponying allowed
Current Coggins and signed liability waivers are required
Never leave your trail boss behind! We are responsible for you and do not want to spend hours searching for you if you get lost!
Dues are determined at the beginning of each riding season and announced at our meeting in September. Dues for 2015 are $10 per rider or $20 per family. The membership year runs from September - August. Due to insurance liability all riders must have paid their dues and signed a liability waiver prior to attending a trail ride.
