Invitation - this Friday - preview launch event for beginspace Dear Cambridge Tech Meetup Colleague,

You are invited to the preview launch of the latest Citylife initiative:

‘beginspace’ is where ideas for business start-ups, social enterprises and community projects come to life.

It’s a place for people with enterprising ideas to connect with people who want to use their time or skills to help create something new. With a range of free resources including on-site mentoring, beginspace brings people together to launch new ventures, benefiting the Cambridge community and economy.

Located at the former NatWest Bank unit on Fitzroy Street, at the entrance to the Grafton Centre, this is a great example of bringing new life to empty units.

This project has come out of the Love Cambridge / Changing Spaces project with support from the Development Trusts Association and the Prudential, owners of the Grafton Centre.

Who? People with an interest in helping Cambridge become more successful in helping new businesses, social enterprises and community projects not merely start but flourish
What? The preview launch of beginspace, a three month pilot scheme offering free support, mentoring and project space / business incubation facilities - drinks and nibbles, meet the team, check out the vision
When? 5-6pm Friday 9 October
Where? The former NatWest Bank retail unit just outside the Grafton Centre, 37 Fitzroy Street (nearest parking: Grafton [West] low level car park off Newmarket Rd by the Zebra pub)

RSVP to Jeremy Parsons, 'The Boss,' beginspace - [address removed] m[masked]

PS As time is so short, if there's anyone you think would like to be there please feel free to pass on this invitation
PPS As Cambridge Tech Group has had no meetups yet and has none scheduled, apologies if we don’t know one another yet!
