Project Night - Hackspace Meetup

We meet up every week to chat, design, build, and make stuff.

We're a community of tinkerers that want to find more time to make things, who want a place to be creative, and who want to be part of a community.

Weekly meetings are very laid back, people bring their own projects, ideas, and beer.

Sometimes we'll have a themed night, with 3D printing or Arduino, but mostly we'll just sit around and work on building stuff.

Come along with your projects/ideas and join in.

What we will provide:

Electronics, Arduinos, basic tools, soldering iron, 3D printer, plus access to other crafty things (needles, fiber fill, felt).

What you'll have to bring:

- Bring your projects, materials and inspiration (a laptop is useful too).

Hey all, I am new to Boston and eventually new to this kind of Hackspace meetups. I have couple of ideas around building games and projects with RasberryPi... But for today, I would love to get the feel of what you guys doing and like to hangout with everyone.

Alexander, I have a 20V 65W charger that you can borrow for the night. It's for a T430, not sure if that is too newfangled for you. Don't worry about being late!

      I'm on a T430s, so that's perfect, thanks a bunch :)

Hi all, I'm new to hardware as well, hoping to get a taste of that tonight, though I will be an hour or so late.

Also, will anyone be bringing a ThinkPad charger I could use during the meetup? I'd need a 20V one with the round plug, not any of that newfangled magnetic stuff. If not I have another computer I can use.

Hey Gerardo/Mio. Tuesday nights are perfect for newcomers, and by all means bring your projects! Some of us come and work on projects, and others come to hang around and talk about projects and hacking in general.

Hello all I'm new too but I've always wanted to visit a real hacker space. Anyone wanna give me a heads up on what to expect? I started a calculator project that I'd love to share with you guys and maybe get some feedback :)

Hey all, I'm a relative newbie to all things hacking+tinkering, but would love to be in an environment where I can learn & get some inspiration. Is this a safe space for not-so-technical techies?
