CMAG November - Let us know about your app in the CMAG app showcase!

  • Nov 19, 2013 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

For our next meetup on the 19th November, we're going to open the floor for anyone who wants to give a short demo of their app.

Whether you want exposure, advice, feedback or just want some experience doing a talk to a friendly crowd!

Apps on any mobile platform are welcome, so don't be scared to email me at [masked] to put your app forward.  We have 3 apps lined up for a demonstration, and we're open to one more:

• Sorcery 2 (http://www.inklestudios.com/sorcery) - The sequel to the first part of the critically acclaimed Sorcery! saga.  On iOS and soon to be Android.

• MouseTrial (http://www.mousetrial.com) - An Android app with a great big collection of simple games that help to develop receptive language.

• Skied Demon (http://www.wieser-software.com/m/ski/) - A ski app for Windows Phone allowing you to record and stay aware of your speed.

After the usual intro from 7:30pm, each will be given 10 minutes to present.  We have a projector (VGA, or Mini DisplayPort compatible) and a TV in the corner we can show apps running.  Speak to me for more details.

Thanks to the ever-supportive Red Gate (http://www.red-gate.com) for sponsoring the room hire for the event!

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Tony

The three app presentations went well, though it's a shame that I couldn't persuade my laptop to output to the projector. Next time I'll bring an HDMI adapter with me!

If anyone wants to try my Android app "MouseTrial" on their kids for free then download the lite version from the Play store and put in the code BC2A to permanantly turn it into a full version. That code will expire at the end of November.

If you like the game then please leave a review!

    Cheers,
    Neil
