Cambridge Mobile App Group Meetup

This month we'll be welcoming Chandru to give us some insight into the latest developments in mobile networks!

EE is the first operator in the UK to launch a 4G network, and within a year is now the fastest 4G operator in the world with the recent trial launch of LTE-Advanced which gives speeds of up to 300 Mbps on a mobile device. Chandru (Chandrashekhar Mullaparthi) who is the Head of Service Development will talk about what LTE-Advanced means, what it may be used for, and how EE is trying to work with mobile app developers to take advantage of these new technologies.

Thanks to Red Gate for sponsoring our room hire at the Fountain!

We'll be meeting in the bar downstairs from 7pm and the talks and introductions start at 7:30 on the second floor.  Afterwards there's the chance to catch up with fellow mobile app people over a drink downstairs.

Great write up, Bart - cheers :) Thanks again Chandru for your talk, and I apologise if you hadn't gone through all your slides. We can host the slides if you are able to share?

Hello coders. Can anyone out there do work in Unity? I have a little iOS project that needs finishing off asap. Any takers?

Ooh 4G in Cambridge please..... why as a tech City is our surrounding network soooo bad! Population density yes, but surely...

Looking to network and find developers to assist with our projects. Anyone want some JQMobile/CSS freelance work?

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
