CMAG November Meetup - Testing Mobile Apps

This month we are focussing on testing mobile apps. We have three speakers that want to help you raise the quality of your apps and keep your users happy.

Stefan Butlin will present "Testpad, a case for manual testing". You will learn why you should do manual testing and see how Testpad can make your mobile testing time more productive.

Mark Roberts is going to talk about his journey (so far) into unit testing for Android mobile apps. He will explain what unit testing is, why you should do it, and how to get started.

Jag Reehal will tell you how UI automation testing can save you time and money. He will also demonstrate some of the tools available on iOS, Android and the mobile web.

Also, Marine Barbaroux of Red Gate and MobileFoo will tell us a little about their exciting new acquisition - Cocoa Controls - which can help you find reusable components to speed your iOS development, or spread the word about the component you have written.

Finally, we will announce the winner of our competition to win a ticket to Apps World Europe. It could be you! Just send in a caption for the photo over on the discussion board to put yourself in the running.

Please come along and learn some very practical techniques to lift your mobile apps to the next level of quality!

Thanks for organising the event Tony. Great to hear about what people are up to from a testing perspective.
