Creative Front is running a 36 hour hack, working in teams to create fresh ideas and prototypes with newly released arts and culture data. They’ll also be paper prototyping and talks from some clever speakers, which everyone is welcome to take part in. Plus local start-up Raspberry Pi are bringing along some of their (now world famous) tiny computers for you to play with…

Arts, culture and heritage organisations – release your data! Culture Hack East is about making the most of your digital assets – video and audio content, data in library or collections catalogues, digitised archives, and information from your organisation’s presence on social networks. It’s not about using customer data or personal information, but about exploring new opportunities for your organisation’s digital content. Read more on the blog here and get in touch if you want to take part.

Find out more about the history of Culture Hack, with events produced previously in London, Edinburgh, Leeds and Glasgow.

Sign up for Culture Hack East on 16-17 June here.
