NAND2Tetris Special Guest Talk - Florindo Santoro

We are delighted to welcome Florindo Santoro who will be giving a talk on how to bring the Hack platform to life using FPGAs.

Florindo is an electronics engineer specialized in FPGA and Digital Design working for fabless company Accent building ASIC SystemOnChips in Italy. Florindo is in the UK for a limited time only and will be returning to Italy a few days after his talk, so we are particularly grateful for his generosity with his time during a holiday!

Schedule:

18:30 - Arrival, networking/chat, food if you need to eat.           18:45 - Opening Session with basic digital background              18:15 - little break.                                                                                    18:20 - Practical demo step by step with Xilinx Tools.                  20:30 - Discussion and retrospective on Course so far. Proposal for the TECSWeb and TetrOS projects and discussion on direction.
21:00 - Close. Optional further networking/chat, etc.

Preparation

No preparation is required this week, although having read through chapters 1-6 of the course book will help place the talk in context.
