Light The Night Fundraiser at Boscov's!

Boscov’s, along with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) have teamed up to create a unique fundraising opportunity for the Light the Night Walk Campaign.

On Saturday, June 7, 2014 between 11am and 3pm, Boscov’s and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will host a LLS Team Day. Details on the event are listed below.

~Covered tables will be set-up throughout the departments on the selling floor.

~Teams will be assigned an area in which they will conduct a fundraising activity.

~Teams must have someone running their activity for the entire time listed for the day of the event.

~Teams may not sell anything that directly conflicts with Boscov’s merchandise. (This would include candy, jewelry, candles)

~We will provide chairs for each table.

~Boscov’s will provide signs, containing information on your activity ~Boscov’s will promote the event by flyers and website.
~Space is limited and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

******I have signed us up for the one in Deptford. This is a great opportunity because we just need to show up. Everything else is taken care of. Boscov's is a sponsor of Light The Night, so they are helping out local teams who are raising money! We are going with the baked goods idea provided by LLS. So, if we have any Cake Masters out there who want to make cakes or pastries to raffle off at this event, they can contact me to let me know!! We will also be having a 50/50 raffle for good measure. :)

Will we have more than one table location in the store? What quantity of baked goods would be sufficient? I had asked my daughters to bake something; may be bringing cookies, cupcakes, etc. Should whole cakes be sliced for individual sales?

I plan to have all my individual items, (brownies, cookies, etc.) in little baggies to make it easier to handle. Also bringing a pumpkin loaf cake, uncut.
