Saturday Games and Pizza

Please join us for our next gaming event! And pizza!

The games we play are much different than the board games you played growing up. Some of them will give your brain a very satisfying workout due to the high level of strategy and low amount of luck. Others are totally dripping with theme (pirates, zombies, monsters, etc) that involve more luck and direct player conflict.

We have a growing collection of games on hand, but if you have a new (or old) boardgame you think fits the bill, by all means bring it along (as long as you'll teach us)!

So... let's have some fun rolling dice, placing tiles, or drawing cards - and enjoy some face-to-face interaction! It really isn't about whether you win or lose (at least not entirely). It is about having a great evening, trying to win some of the time, and always playing better the next time! smile

Just to be clear: we don't play Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, Uno, Yahtzee, etc. Please see our About Us page for more information on the types of games we play.

Great session today, we were able to arrange a learning/teaching session of the new game "Exile Sun".

Not your typical epic 4X space opera but it is definitely a solid game of fleet-based space warfare. Played 1st session with Earl, Jim, Rich, and Mark and a second session with Earl and Rich. Initial session was long because of understanding the set-up and reading the rules. Second session was much quicker because of the lesser number of players and our understanding of the rules. Great game I'm glad a backed it on Kickstarter.

Great day of gaming! Glad to finally break out Exile Sun, and it was definitely as good as I was expecting, if not better. Congrats to Rich for winning the inaugural CCG Exile Sun game. Then a tense, down to the wire game of Power Grid across Spain and Portugal. Couldn't have asked for better.

I haven't been able to get my copy of Exile Sun played at the house yet, so I'll happily join in!

I've definitely opened mine up, so I'll happily bring it. I'll see if I can arrive a little early too so I can make sure everything is ready to go.
