Please join us for our next gaming event! And pizza, just at a different pizza place!

We will be at Mario's Pizza on Cloverdale for this meetup. They are excited to have us. They have a separate meeting room, so we will have quiet and decent lighting. We will have the room for 6 hours. I spoke with the manager personally today and set the times.

The games we play are much different than the board games you played growing up. Some of them will give your brain a very satisfying workout due to the high level of strategy and low amount of luck. Others are totally dripping with theme (pirates, zombies, monsters, etc) that involve more luck and direct player conflict.

We have a growing collection of games on hand, but if you have a new (or old) boardgame you think fits the bill, by all means bring it along (as long as you'll teach us)!

So... let's have some fun rolling dice, placing tiles, or drawing cards - and enjoy some face-to-face interaction! It really isn't about whether you win or lose (at least not entirely). It is about having a great evening, trying to win some of the time, and always playing better the next time! smile

Just to be clear: we don't play Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, Uno, Yahtzee, etc. Please see our  About Us page for more information on the types of games we play.

I have a tile game called Betrayal at House on the Hill. The play time ranges from 1-3 hours (average 1.5-2) and seats 6 players. Its a haunted house theme. Tons of fun! Should I bring it?

I felt the room was too small.

I like the space and the food was good. and effect of having less space to spread out simply meant fewer games with more people playig. I found it perfectly comfortable there. out of courtesy to any business if we're going to be there for hours I think we should make ourselves Park inconveniently. what I mean is the park so that it is inconvenient for us and we have to walk extra but their parking spots are open.

Sure, there are a few members who have played it. If they come, you shouldn't have any trouble getting up a game.
