Early Arrival

From: David
Sent on: Tuesday, February 19, 2013 6:45 AM

I meant to address this  when we started meeting at new places. So far, this hasn't been an issue with the 2 new places we have tried.

I know that some members are use to showing up for meetups, especially the Tuesday and Thursday ones, an hour or so early. I am asking you not to do that. The places may not be ready. In most cases, I am the person they have talked to, so someone else asking for the space, may confuse the staff at the location. Showing up too early may also set a bad tone from the beginning. I am usually at least 15 minutes early, and especially now, I am trying to get there 20 minutes early, so I can check in with the staff, and make sure the room is ready.

Please, if you have to arrive early, do not ask about the the room.

Thank you for your cooperation,
