Taste of Camp Quest NorthWest Potluck Picnic

Please join us for an afternoon of food and freethought activities. During this event, we'll be gauging interest in a Pacific Northwest camp and giving families and interested volunteers an idea of what Camp Quest is all about. If you'd like to help plan the event, be sure to come to one of our Wednesday meetings.

Food:

Please bring a dish to share (please include serving spoon); you may also bring items to put on the grill. We'll supply  utensils, healthy drinks, condiments, grills, charcoal, and lighter fluid.

There should be enough seating, but feel free to bring some lawn chairs.

Program:

     * noon - 2:00pm - Registration, food, mingling.
     * 2:00pm - 2:15pm - Presentation
     * 2:15pm - 3:00pm - Icebreaker Activities
     * 3:00pm - 5:00pm - Main events

Reminder: No alcohol is allowed in King County parks

    Delightful event! The children were well-behaved, involved and engaged, as well as being a gathering of some of the most intelligent youngsters in one place I have seen in a very long time. Attendees were conscientious about the food they brought to share and interaction among the parents was assuring. If this picnic is indicative of what Camp Quest has to offer when it "opens its doors," then it will be a huge success for many years to come. Can't wait for the event in November! Word-of-mouth will bring the November event many new faces and an even better experience! Looking forward to it!

    I wish we could have been there. We had the intention, but we forgot. The date just snuck up on us. We're still very interested in the camp though.

    Absolutely! Come as late or leave as early as you need, whichever works better for you.

    If anyone is having difficulty with the commute to Woodinville, please feel free to post a message to the Meetup and ask if anyone is travelling from your location. We do have one volunteer in the North (in Smokey Point, exit 206) who needs a ride, so let us know if you're interested in a car share. Thanks!
