LET'S DO SOME CAMPING AT LOGANDALE AS IT'S STARTING TO GET NICE AT NIGHT NOW...Directions: Take I-15 north to exit 93..Go "East" about 4 miles until you see a Chevron station on the right..About a half mile past this is VIP Chinese. This is Liston Rd. make a "Right" and go 2 blocks to the end. Make a "Right" along the railroad tracks and cross the tracks after about 100 yards. Follow that dirt road about 1-1/2 miles and stay left at fork. go about 1-1/2 miles to the big turnout with the concrete slab. I will try to get there early and rope off a large area for us depending how many are going.

The people we met were friendly, generous, and great fun. We would love to ride with them again.

As of now, we have about 7 vehicles and about 10 people coming... :o)) Just not sure who will get there first to save our spots...

If you can see, the fire pit is just off the east side, so just be aware of that.. Other than that you can park where you would like.. :o)) If anyone get's there before me Please save my spot and this whole area, for everyone else in our group...(I've posted it on many sites so I'm not sure how many they will be in total....) I'll now more Thursday.. :-)) Thanks

Thanks for the pick. It looks like we won't be getting there until Friday evening (close to 7:00), so I'm sure others will beat us there. We should be able to spot everyone easily. We will be arriving in a white F-450 pulling a Cyclone, so you can't miss us. Lol!

This is where we are all camping, just before the trail-head on Left, Look for my Motorhome and trailer in my Picture... That's the rig I will be bringing... (if I get there before you) As, It depends when I get out of work when I will be there, But I will be there Friday,sometime... I won't know until thursday afternoon when I will be working...:o)) Just Copy and paste the "[masked],[masked]" into Google-Earth and you can see where we are parking. I Park "on" the pad on the complete North-West side, as My motorhome fits perfectly there. (Side closest to the road. That way if it does get windy it blocks the wind from everyone on the Pad... Most everyone else usually parks off the pad in a Circle around the pad... But we can figure it out as they come...I'll try to post a picture of how I park so you can get an idea... :o))

We are new to the group but looking forward to meeting everyone. Is anyone planning to get there Friday afternoon, so we know who to look for? It's also been a long time since I was at the Logandale trails. Are we camping just up the road from the trailhead or is there a camping area where we will all meet?

      September 16, 2012

Yes, Logandale has something for just about everyone, It has Hiking trails, it has Sand-Dunes, it has Rock-Climbing, for both, hand climbing and also for Jeeps, and it has Tons of "Trails" for both dirt-bikes, or quads or Jeeps.... And it is just a Great place to campout over looking Logandale and the mountains, and you can see the stars soooo good there!! And we can have a "Fire-Pit" to sit around to Gaze-into....LOL!!! I can take my 32" flatscreen out of my RV, so if someone wants to watch a movie or something we can do that as well... :o)) It's a lot of fun for everyone........;-)

I have only been to logandale trails one time. It has some nice trails then a large sandy area. Looking forward to exploring more. I have firewood.

By the way in case you were wondering, it's supposed to be 89-91 degrees during the day and way down to 58-63 degrees at night and with less than a 5mph breeze all weekend... Perfect weather!!

  • Mad M.

Ok, if you click on the map you will have to erase the Logandale NV part and just leave the numbers and hit the button on the right and it will take you to it... Or just copy and past the numbers in Google earth...Oh, Please Everyone, Bring some fire-wood if you can... (Just a few pieces each will do...) Thanks
