I agree with Janice - let do this again same time next year. Lets keep the fishing / blueberry picking day and the other Squam Lake. I will see if there is other camp grounds in the area - would have been nice Todd if you were closer to us.

Had a great weekend, I would certainly like to do this again.

Anyone see my growler? Thing I left it on the table when we did the beer tasting.
Unfortunately, it got trashed while breaking camp. We didn't realize that it was a refillable beer bottle. At the time, we didn't know that you're supposed to bring it back to the brewer for refills. Sorry :(

did my weber grill grate cover also end in the trash by mistake? oh well guess no more engineering bbq 101 ideas
Todd, thanks for a fun weekend. Lots of laughs around the campfire. Thanks to everyone for all the delicious food at the potluck. Let's do this again next year!
I almost forgot! We finally, after much anticipation, got to enjoy Deb's famous pancakes. Our hand-picked blueberries made them even better!
Had a great time; lots of laughs, great conversation. Paddling in White Oak Pond was great, and we picked lots of blueberries right from our kayaks. Paddling on Squam Lake on Sunday was fantastic.
Thought I'd bring my 10 foot kayak and try some fishing. Is it ok if I bring chico my dog?

your dog will need to be on a leash at all times? Also see the campground rules for pets at: http://www.owlslandin...
Yes Bob, Chico's fine what ever the campgrounds policy is, is what we'll go with. I'm sure Paula will probably bring her dog as well.
Bob&Paula, be sure to bring a copy of your pet's current vaccination certificate as I see it will be required at check-in at the campground.

just thought I would send out that info out, after seeing it in the campground reservation confirmation message.
hi deb i keep a copy of buddy s medical records in the rv ---he s always camping !
Some of us were chatting - we'd thought it would be fun to do a very informal - no pressure - Pot Luck dinner for Sat Night. Time ? - we can decide once we are up there. I am going to bring chicken - baked beans - and BIG cookies from Andy Man.

I will bring salmon or trout burgers (in case you dont catch any edible fish :-), plus taboule salad and marshmellows.
We will bring steak tips and a Mediterranean salad.
besides food if anyone has guitar or musical instrument they play bring it along for a good old fun live sing-along around the campfire. :-)
for those of you lucky folks not working Friday, check In at the campground is 1:00 PM

Debra you going to be up that early ?

Todd researching where to fish ....
White Oak Pond - down the street from the camping area. A public - car top boat - access only. A lot safer - secluded than trying to fish on Squam.

Cool, I think I'm going to bring two boats, one for the paddle, one to fish from,
I think I am doing the same - we can chat on Friday night about the time on Sat etc ... I heard that there are BlueBerries on that pond :)
I reserved site F10. Looking forward , my first time at this campground.

Not this time Paula, my friends put this together.
+1 will be up early on Friday. I will be arriving late as my new job means longer hours :(
What a choice I have.....camping with you fun people or spending time with my grand daughter at the beach. My son and my grand daughter are flying in for a few days. My sons will be camping together for the first time in 3 years in the mountains and I get the adorable Miss Emma for 4 days all to my self. Sooooooooooooo see you at the Boogie & Bues.
I would love to go but I already made plans to go to hometown in NYS. Can't wait to see you all later in August to "boogie to the blues."

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
