Lets walk a section of the majestic Murrumbidgee River. If it's warm enough we might even get to swim (make sure to pack your bathers!)
Meet at the Kambah beach car park in the Kambah Pool reserve on Kambah Pool road. This one is rated as a medium walk. The path is sometimes rocky and there are some steep sections.
Much of the walk takes place high above the Murrumbidgee, with glimpses of the river below through a variety of landscapes.
Here is the link to more information on this walk. (Walk #27)
We won't do the full 7km - we will just go to the old convict wall and then turn around and go back. I think it will be about 8km all up, and will take us between 2 and 3 hours.
Bring a hat, sunscreen, plenty of water and a sandwich or something to eat at the half way mark.
