According to the survey you filled out when you joined this group, Abseiling rated Number 2 (behind Skydiving) as the most popular activity people wanted to try.
Here is your chance!
Z Access Adventures will be our hosts for the day, and all skill levels will be catered for. The beginners will learn how to abseil before putting their skills to good use in a cave. Those with previous abseiling experience will be doing a more challenging version.
The venue will be Bungonia State Conservation Area which is about 1 hour from Canberra (roughly between Braidwood and Goulburn). We will car pool for this one, so as per usual please use the comments area below to volunteer your car/driving services or to request a lift.
I have listed the start time for the day as 9.30am. Note: this is the time we need to be at Bungonia, so we will need to leave Canberra around 8 am (ish)
No food or drinking water is available in the park so BYO food and water for the day. Wear clothing suitable for outdoors, bearing in mind it might be sunny or raining, shoes should be enclosed. Group limit for this adventure is 40 people, so there are plenty of spaces.
