Do you want to get out and enjoy all the adventurous, outdoor activities in Canberra and beyond?

The Canberra Women’s Adventure Group was formed in April 2012, with a vision of getting women with similar interests together to try new things. After all, new adventures are more fun when done with a group! Also, it is a chance for you to meet other awesome, inspiring women face to face.

It takes a special type of woman to RSVP to one of our events. We know how you feel as we have all ”been there and done that” before. We are asking you to commit to doing something you have probably never done before, pay your money for this up front, turn up on your own to meet a group of strangers and then do something that will probably terrify you at some stage. But - what if that group of strangers changed your life? and became your lifelong friends? and that adventure that terrified you left you with a feeling that you can do ANYTHING? This is what you sign up for when you join the Canberra Women’s Adventure Group.

Our adventures range from bus trips, hiking and camping to skydiving, mountain biking and rock climbing- and everything in between. We usually have at least once adventure scheduled per month, and if there is anything you would like to try or organise for the group in between meetups then let me know. We cater for all ages from 18 and over, and for all levels of fitness.
